JANINE PATTISON
Lead Consultant
Janine Pattison MSGD is a multi award-winning garden designer and horticulturalist who trained with English Heritage at Eltham Palace in London and at Kingston Maurward College in Dorchester. A Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers, the British Association of Landscape Industries and the Garden Media Guild, Janine is also a highly qualified RHS horticulturalist. She writes regularly for national magazines and newspapers, and is proving to be a highly popular speaker at various horticultural and garden design events across the country.


DENISE WRIGHT
Creative Director
One of the UK's leading 3D landscape modellers, Denise Wright is an award-winning garden designer who trained at Walsall Art College then studied Design & Illustration at the Bournemouth Arts Institute. A polymath, she has enjoyed a highly creative career as an award-winning art editor (Nexus ‘Designer Of The Year’ and ‘Magazine Of The Year’ Awards), art director, journalist, photographer, web and multi-media expert. She is even an international award-winning theatre composer! Denise combines her love of the arts to create truly original and innovative garden design solutions. 

  MANAGEMENT

SARAH ABBOTT
Gardens Manager
Gaining a Distinction in her Garden Design course at Kingston Maurward, Sarah ran her own gardens maintenance business before joining Janine Pattison Garden Design Ltd. Sharing the company’s love of contemporary gardens and use of perennials and grasses, Sarah is currently studying her last year of RHS General Certificate in horticulture. An excellent and highly-organised manager, Sarah is responsible for the smooth running of all operations on site. Sarah is married to Jonathan and lives in Poole with their two daughters, Scarlet and Ellie.
 

DEBBIE WESTON
Gardens Manager
Debbie began her career at Stewarts Nurseries, working her way up to Cash & Carry Supervisor within a couple of years. She obtained a BTEC in Supervisory Management, PA1 and PA6 Pesticide Spraying Certificate, as well as studying for the RHS General Certificate during this time. Debbie's role as Gardens Manager within the company has brought her passion for horticulture flooding back. An excellent and unflappable manager, she is responsible for the smooth running of all operations on site. Debbie and hubby-to-be Ben are the proud parents of Thomas and Daisy.

MAZEN BEIDAS
Junior Garden Designer
With a degree in Business Studies from Birmingham City University, Mazen’s early career began in HR consulting. In 2008, he decided to return to a more creative field and, with a genuine interest in nature, garden design was the ideal career choice. Mazen graduated from Sparsholt College in 2010 with a foundation degree in Garden Design. His career got off to positive start, when the design for his final year project was featured in the Garden Design Journal as part of the ‘Class of 2010’ review. He is thrilled to be a part of the team at Janine Pattison Garden Design.
   

 OPERATIONS

KEVIN CLARK
Contracts Supervisor
Kevin joins us from 13 years' service with Sunseeker International, where he rose from an apprentice to Team Leader, managing over 30 contractors to build the perfect vessel for clients, on time and on budget. Achieving a City & Guilds Level 3 and an NVQ level 2 in Yacht & Boat Building, Level 2 and NVQ level 2 in Site Carpentry, Kevin also completed a NEBS course (Network Equipment Building System). His role as Contract Supervisor involves daily site visits to check on specifications and to ensure all our gardens are built on time, on budget and to the quality we demand.
 
FABRICE CADET
Horticulturalist
Fabrice is a highly qualified and experienced horticulturalist and landscape designer, coming to join us from Paris, where he worked on a number of prestigious projects, including planting design for The Ritz, Flamant Homes Interiors, The Meurice Hotel and Hervé Gambs. Fabrice studied BA Landscape Management at the Vatine Horticole, and also trained at the Ecole des Fleuristes in Paris. Working as a landscape garden designer with landscape architect Michel Muller, Fabrice was responsible for creating a wide variety of informal and formal gardens.
 
HEATHER BICKNELL
Horticulturalist
This is a complete career change for Heather, as previously she ran her own business in childcare. However, gardening has always been a passionate hobby of hers and she has many years of practical gardening experience, enjoying creating beautiful surroundings and relaxed environments for herself and others. Heather thoroughly enjoys being part of this inspiring company and get great satisfaction from turning a piece of land into a beautiful, living garden.


  
  SARAH GILES
Horticulturalist

After gaining a BSc (Hons) in Geology, Sarah began her horticultural career at Golden Acres Wholesale Nursery in Hurn, running the bedding section. Accepted on the National Trust careership scheme at Kingston Lacy, Sarah went on to achieve the RHS General Certificate, NVQ3 in Amenity Horticulture and a range of practical qualifications (PA1/PA6, forklift and tractor driving, ATV driving, brushcutter, manual handling, hedgetrimmer). In her final year, Sarah designed and organised the planting and maintenance of the newly renovated Kingston Lacy Kitchen Garden.
